How to unlock and enable developers mode on Tecno (android)
On Android phones, Developer Mode adds a number of unique features to the device’s developer settings, but sometimes regular device users require these features.
(for example, to enable USB debugging and subsequent data recovery, installation of custom recovery, screen recording using adb shell commands and other purposes).
How to unlock and enable developers mode options
1. Go to settings and open ‘About phone’.
2. Select the ‘Kernel Version‘ or ‘Build Number’ menu item.
3. Press this item several times in succession. After a few taps, notifications will appear stating that Developer Mode will be enabled soon.
4. After ten clicks, you will see the message ‘You are now a developer!’.
5. To open developer mode, open ‘Settings‘ – ‘For Developers’ or ‘Settings’ – ‘Advanced‘ – ‘For Developers’.
How to disable Android developer mode and remove the ‘For Developers’ menu item.
On most Android phones, you will see an on/off switch at the top of the screen that will allow you to turn off developer mode.
